Position Details:
Position: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Rate: up to $80.00/ hr
Location: Onsite 2x a week in Orlando, FL
Project Details:
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support Chaos Test Engineering. This team will support approximately 3,000 Tier I and Tier II applications, prioritizing the most critical and visible needs first.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Process:
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in an SRE/SE operational role. Experience with both cloud and on-prem environments (preferrably AWS). Proficiency with FIS and/or Gremlin for chaos testing. Bachelors Degree, preferrably in comupter science or related field.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Amazon Cloud.

Project Details:
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support Chaos Test Engineering. This team will support approximately 3,000 Tier I and Tier II applications, prioritizing the most critical and visible needs first.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities will vary depending on the stage of the process, with more meetings occurring during the initial and final stages.
- Expect a 30-50% split between meetings and hands-on work.
- No on-call duties.
Process:
- Conduct an architected review of the entire application suite.
- Identify and address any variances or issues.
- Develop test cases to inject chaos and simulate "doomsday" scenarios such as latencies, upticks in errors, and taking percentages offline.
- Run tests in lower environments, document the results and propose solutions.
- Executive level presence for presentations and Q&A sessions.
- Collaborate closely with development and business teams.
