Job Details
USAC's target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $120,000 - $155,000 USD per year. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors based on knowledge, skills, and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. USAC has a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Commuter Benefits, and Wellness Programs.
USAC employees follow a hybrid work schedule, working onsite in D.C. at least two days per week.

We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Software Developer IV (IDP-Hyperscience) with our IT team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Software Development you will:
- Provide support for critical business functions through the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of robotics process automation (RPA) solutions.
- Architect, design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document robotics process automation (RPA) solutions including RPA Platform maintenance and administration.
- Identify and develop reusable custom objects and flows for RPA automations.
- Participate in regular RPA Platform maintenance and upgrade activities, including configuring
- Servers, Interactive Clients, Runtime Resources, and system roles.
- Analyze, understand, and document business processes in detail where required.
- Conduct design and code peer reviews.
- Coordinate with departments and users in the support of business applications.
- Design, Develop, and Configure RPA Process automation solutions that are well-structured,
- efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
- Implement processes and flows requiring Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
- Research, evaluate, recommend and implement technical solutions, tools, COTS and open-source products.
- Write technical design, architecture, assessment and other documents as required.
- Lead application integration efforts.
- Represent the IT department in terms of software development expertise in coordination with other department.
About You
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant technical training with no preferred certification.
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of directly related experience.
- Three (3) to Four (4) years of RPA robot or automation solution development on Blue Prism (Required)
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of Application development experience (Required)
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience using software engineering, design patterns, object-oriented design and architecture, Internet application development, web services, and technical documentation.
- Five (5) + years of experience in application security concepts, domain modeling and database design, and Spring framework.
- Knowledge of configuration management and release management principles.
- Knowledge of networking and system engineering concepts.
Additional Desired Experience:
- High transaction/data volume systems, front end technologies, integration of application software, RDBMS, scripting languages, and high availability architectures.
- Agile SDLC; Scrum/Kanban preferred, SQL, implementation of COTS products, and authentication and authorization technologies (SSO, SAML).
- Continuous delivery, Continuous Integration, and contribution to open-source community.
- Integration of application software, high availability architectures, exposure to enterprise architecture concepts.
