Location: Wilmington, DE (Remote Eligible) Duration: 12+ Months Experience: Senior-Level


ITAR REQUIREMENTS (MANDATORY):

Candidate must meet U.S. Government ITAR compliance for sensitive data access.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled OT Security Specialist with deep expertise in Operational Technology security, OT asset management, and industrial intrusion detection solutions.
This role involves conducting site assessments, deploying OT security tools (Hexagon Cyber Integrity or similar), and improving the OT security posture across multiple manufacturing facilities. Remote work is allowed, but ITAR identity verification is required.


Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Strong experience in OT Security within industrial or manufacturing environments.

  • Hands-on experience in OT Asset Management and OT network landscape assessments.

  • Expertise with Hexagon Cyber Integrity or any major OT IDS/IPS/monitoring platforms, including:

    • Claroty

    • Nozomi

    • Armis

    • Microsoft Defender for IoT

  • Understanding of IT/OT networks, integration layers, control systems, and OT security principles.

  • Experience defining and applying the Purdue Model (PERA) for OT architectures.

  • Strong understanding of firewalls, security rules, segmentation, and OT compliance frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

<>OT Security & Network Assessments:</>
  • Conduct site surveys of machines and devices on:

    • PCN (Process Control Network)

    • OMN (Operations Management Network)

  • Evaluate existing IT/OT network architecture and integration points.

  • Assess facility OT security posture and identify security gaps.

<>Deployment & Configuration:</>
  • Deploy Hexagon Cyber Integrity or other OT security tools across multiple manufacturing plants.

  • Integrate OT monitoring tools into enterprise security visibility layers.

  • Ensure critical OT systems remain operational during deployment and are not accidentally disrupted.

  • Validate firewall configurations, rule sets, and network segmentation.

  • Confirm proper data flow so Corporate Security teams can view complete network topology.

<>Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:</>
  • Define the Purdue Model architecture for each facility.

  • Develop training content and documentation for Cyber Champions across sites.

  • Share OT security learnings and best practices with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.


Generic Managerial & Collaboration Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with:

    • Site Cyber Champions

    • Automation Engineers

    • Operations

    • IT Security teams

    • Infrastructure & Plant Control (A&PC) teams

  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple site deployments and coordinate cross-functionally.

  • Ability to communicate OT security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
