We are looking for an experienced individual who is able to work with our current hardware database team as a network system administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving all networking equipment in a mixed Linux and Windows based environment within the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). This individual will also be asked to occasionally offer support to other team members in resolving complex issues within the system and/or providing expert guidance on networking best practices, as well as document and test solutions.

We are looking for an experienced individual who is able to work with our current hardware database team as a network system administrator. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Configuring network hardware (servers, routers and switches)
- Manage Firewall, Load balancers
- Upgrading and repairing computer networks
- Troubleshooting network issue
- Assisting network architects with the design of network models
- Deploying and updating software
- Managing servers and their operating systems
- Implementing security measures
- Developing test processes and procedures
- Performing testing
- Managing cloud and physical network storage
- Create and update network related documentation
- Attends and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings
- Reports issues and problems and recommends solutions. Performs other related duties in line with tasks assignments
- RMLS Field Support 24x7 as needed
