Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Appian Architect to join our growing digital transformation team. This is a 100% remote opportunity for a professional who thrives in architecting and delivering enterprise-grade applications on the Appian Low-Code Platform.
You ll be responsible for end-to-end solution design, technical leadership, and best-practice implementation to drive efficiency and automation across business workflows.
Responsibilities
Design and architect Appian-based applications that meet business and performance objectives.
Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Appian solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Develop reusable components, record types, SAIL interfaces, process models, and reports.
Integrate Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Connected Systems.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for Appian deployment and version management.
Perform code reviews, enforce Appian design best practices, and mentor development teams.
Optimize applications for security, performance, and scalability.
Support production troubleshooting and environment management activities.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Appian experience, including Appian 21.x or later.
Proven experience as Appian Architect or Appian Lead Developer.
Deep expertise in:
Appian SAIL, Records, Process Models, and Data Fabric
Appian Security and Access Control
Appian Plug-ins and Connected Systems
Experience integrating Appian with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP web services.
Strong understanding of Appian Query Language, Expression Rules, and CDTs.
Familiarity with SQL for backend data operations.
Experience with Agile delivery and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Appian Certified Lead Developer or Appian Certified Architect.
Experience in Appian Cloud administration and environment configuration.
Exposure to BPMN standards, automation frameworks, or enterprise integrations
