Job Details
Title: Business Systems Analyst P&C Insurance - W2 Role - Onsite
Location : Charlotte, NC
Client : HTC Global
Duration : Long Term.
Description :
What You ll Do
Analyze and document the current UI, including all tabs, workflows, and functionality across Policy Center, Finance Center, and Agency Center.
Reverse-engineer the legacy platform to create clear functional specifications, UI mappings, and workflow diagrams bridging gaps where no existing documentation exists.
Partner closely with the UI/UX team to review wireframes and ensure new designs preserve critical legacy behaviors while improving usability.
Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and define backlog items to support Agile development cycles.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure the new solution mirrors functionality and adheres to technical standards.
Define and execute test strategies, including manual testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate functionality.
Perform defect triaging and work with QA and DevOps to ensure timely resolutions and high-quality releases.
Work cross-functionally with technical SMEs, IT stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to address integration points and system dependencies.
Support go-live planning, post-launch monitoring, and validation to ensure a smooth transition and functional parity with the system.
What We re Looking For
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the P&C insurance domain, with exposure to policy, finance, and agency operations.
Strong ability to work with undocumented legacy systems and translate technical behavior into clear business requirements.
Experience collaborating with UI/UX teams, developers, QA, and DevOps in fast-paced environments.
Hands-on experience in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting Agile teams.
Knowledge of insurance platforms, system integrations, and end-to-end system testing practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
