Job Details

Contract Administrator III

Tampa, FL - will work downtown (Teco Plaza) and then Midtown late summer.

Onsite 3 days required with team/2 days remote

Contract to hire

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years in contract review/administration related to project engineering/construction
  • Procurement & Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including handling change orders, amendments, and contract closeouts.
  • IT/OT Procurement Expertise: Provide sourcing support for technology initiatives, with a sound understanding of both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) procurement requirements.
  • Scope of Work (SOW) Development: Collaborate with project and technical teams to create and review scopes of work and ensure requirements are well-defined and contract-ready.
  • Contractual Risk Assessment: Identify and address contractual risks early in the procurement process to protect organizational interests.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to procurement-related laws and industry regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Legal & Risk Coordination: Act as a liaison between project teams and legal/risk management departments to align contract terms with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hard Requirement: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or related field. Degree will be verified
  • Preferred: Working knowledge in an ERP or SAP environment.
