As a technical Business Analyst for the Shipyard AI Capacity Planning team, you will work in a team environment to define and document business process and software requirements for technology initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for communication and collaboration between the customers and development team to ensure quality deliverables.
What you will do
- Assist with onsite data collection and Shipyard AI implementation efforts
- Maintain relationships with key shipyard personnel
- Support the development of requirements documentation and related specifications, documentation, and business cases
- Assist in the design and deployment of solutions for proposals and follow-on work
- Attain basic knowledge of BigBear's services and software portfolio to assist in growth opportunities in the Shipyards
- Assisting in sales demos and customer presentations
- Provide feedback for product development
- Troubleshoot customer issues (as needed)
- Provide customer training on deployments
- Travel will be required as needed to support deployments of our solutions
What you need to have
- Passionate about providing high quality, impactful solutions to real business opportunities and challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
- 0-3 years experience
What we'd like you to have
- Experience with project planning or engineering, ideally in a U.S. Navy, ship building, or other manufacturing environment a plus
- Knowledge of discrete event simulation and statistical analyses
