Industrial Engineering Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a First-Line Industrial Engineering Manager (Level K) to support the 777/777X Industrial Engineering (IE) team based in Everett, WA.
As an Industrial Engineering First-Line Manager, you will be working closely with Operations leaders and other stakeholders as we increase production rates and improve productivity. The BCA IE team you will be leading provides a critical role in helping Operations manage the production system and improving processes for into the future.
Position responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Everett, WA)

- Manages employees performing industrial engineering activities associated with technical development, implementation, analysis and improvement activities throughout the business units.
- Development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures in alignment with business plans, strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Acquires and coordinates resources for projects and processes and provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualification (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 3+ years of experience in Operations/Industrial Engineering.
- 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Experience with implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Experience using Systematic Problem Solving.
- Discrete-event simulation experience.
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience establishing partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports and conveying organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of work group, project or process goals.
- Experience in identifying opportunities to improve work-related products and processes within own work group, project or process and engaging and empowering employees to make process improvements.
