Location: 8000 Norman Center Dr, Bloomington, MN 55437 (Hybrid Local candidates only)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Likely to Extend to 12+ Months)

Job Overview:

IDQ is looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to join their Technology Innovation Team. You will focus on developing and supporting Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and the Power Platform, contributing to both ongoing administration and new feature development.

Role Split:

  • 60% Development
  • 40% Administration/Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support solutions in D365 F&O and Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate).
  • Lead architecture design and align with industry best practices.
  • Customize and integrate D365 F&O with internal and external systems.
  • Support multiple environments: Production, UAT, and Development.
  • Collaborate with vendors for bug fixes, updates, and improvements.
  • Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD, versioning, and task tracking.
  • Document technical processes and mentor junior developers.
  • Stay current with Microsoft and cloud ecosystem updates.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 7+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in D365 Finance & Operations development.
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and X++.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, branching, and release management.
  • Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and cloud deployment.
  • Solid skills in SQL and data modeling.
  • Strong communication, ownership, and team collaboration.

  1. What customizations/features have you developed in D365 F&O?
  2. Which tools/languages have you worked with (e.g., X++, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL)?
