Job Details

Purpose:
The client seeks assistance in implementing prioritized key elements to advance and strengthen the Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework, policies, and processes.

Project Goals:
The Client seeking support to advance key components of its Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework, policies, and processes. With over NA0 IT-related projects currently running across the State, there is concern about the lack of centralized architectural oversight, project intake and prioritization, and overall project management. This has led to duplicative efforts, localized solutions that don't scale, and gaps in statewide capabilities.

Responsibilties:
  • Assist in development of Enterprise Architecture (EA) operating model, roles, standards/patterns, and processes
  • Provide architecture design and support services for in-flight and planned projects
  • Support and improve the Architecture Review Board (ARB), EIT Technical Review, Standards, Glossary, and SharePoint
  • Establish future-state processes for EA standards and their execution
  • Expand SharePoint site access and EA content visibility
  • Enable team expansion and collaborate with Solution Architects
  • Support the full project life cycle: design workshops, review processes, and project execution
  • Design and iterate EA-related dashboards (ARB, EIT Technical Review, Standards)
  • Participate in planning and development of a Future-State Project Life Cycle Tool
  • Perform software and application rationalization using the 7Rs framework
  • Utilize CMDB and application mapping data to support rationalization
  • Create and execute an application rationalization plan
  • Collaborate with data classification efforts to develop an Enterprise Data Strategy
  • Implement data standardization across the enterprise
  • Create and publish reference, current, and future-state architectures
  • Define common use cases and reusable architecture patterns for reviews
Leadership Team:
Over 7 years of experience serving as a Project Director.
Working Team:
  • More than 5 years of experience in Principal Architecture roles, including EA governance, architectural design, and data governance and strategy.
  • Over 5 years of experience implementing enterprise standards, business processes, and technical architecture.
  • More than 5 years of experience across multiple architectural disciplines and working with various EA frameworks.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting government initiatives.
  • Over 1 year of experience in enterprise architecture analysis.
