About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Governance Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on supporting data governance, data management, and risk management initiatives, with a strong emphasis on policy development, stakeholder engagement, and compliance.

• Alation - for data cataloging and governance workflows

Daily Responsibilities

• Support data governance and management efforts for enterprise data sharing initiatives.
• Conduct technical business analysis to translate regulatory requirements into actionable policies.
• Use tools like Alation and BigEye to monitor data quality and compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for policies, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate governance messaging and updates through recurring executive meetings.
• Engage with stakeholders across all levels, including executive leadership, to align on governance standards.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation, slide decks, and meeting minutes submitted for corporate reporting.
