Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support for end users in a dynamic biopharma research and office setting. This role focuses on PC, mobile device, and Microsoft 365 support, with exposure to tools used across R&D, lab-adjacent environments, and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide desk-side and remote support for end users (Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure)
Support mobile devices (iOS) and manage via MDM platforms
Troubleshoot end-user systems, network issues, VoIP, printers, and conference room AV equipment
Configure and maintain Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure user accounts
Manage incidents and requests via ITSM tools (e.g., FreshService)
Participate in IT projects and lead initiatives under the direction of the Sr. IT Helpdesk Manager
Create technical documentation and user training materials
Perform hardware decommissioning and Windows OS/application installation
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on new technology rollouts
Participate in weekend on-call rotation as needed
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of IT support experience in a corporate or bio pharma environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, Outlook)
Experience with Active Directory & Azure AD administration
Hands-on experience with iOS and mobile device troubleshooting
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic networking
Familiarity with endpoint protection (e.g., Trellix) and system imaging (e.g., SmartDeploy, Automox)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to support and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments (GxP knowledge a plus)
Experience with ITSM tools (Fresh Service preferred)
Audio/Visual system support for meeting rooms
Experience configuring Windows-based software via distribution tools
