Job Title: Software QA Engineer Location: Salem, OR (97312) / Remote Option
Employment Type: 3+ Month W2 Contract (No C2C or sponsorship available)
About the Role:
Talent Groups is seeking a Software QA Engineer to test .NET web applications, API integrations, and Guidewire ClaimsCenter. This includes running batch jobs via Automic and validating XML file outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a QA program and testing standards
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Lead and implement test automation efforts
- Collaborate with BAs and developers to define scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Use Postman or similar tools for API testing
- Validate data accuracy across systems
- Evaluate and improve QA processes and tools
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in QA for .NET web apps and APIs
- Experience creating test plans, cases, and scripts
- Data validation experience
- Postman and Guidewire ClaimsCenter experience
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred Competencies:
- Tech-savvy and resourceful
- Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
- Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams
Additional Details:
- Remote-friendly role, with occasional travel to Salem, OR
- Must reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, MI, MO, NE, NV, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI
