Job Description
DUTIES: Provide technical leadership in building highly available microservices using Java and Spring Boot; support, build, and enhance middleware integrations; deploy REST APIs in multicloud environments; build automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Concourse; design and implement SOAP web services using XML, and REST web services using JSON, for system integration and data exchange; use web services concepts including XQuery, XSLT, and XSD; debug Linux OS and application logs; create and inject Linux scripts in applications; design, implement, and optimize database queries and procedures using SQL, PL/SQL, and the following databases: Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB; use workflow builder tools for business approval and process extension; develop automation testing frameworks using Selenium and JIRA; work with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; ensuring programs are envisioned, designed, developed, and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs; work with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that the most efficient solution is designed to meet business requirements; ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule; track and document requirements for enterprise development projects and improvements; monitor current and future trends, technology, and information that will positively affect organizational projects; apply and integrate emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture; present solutions to senior architects; plan and design new or upgraded systems; interact with departments to implement improvements in the process; develop solution architecture (both tactical and strategic) to fully manage/support enterprise needs, services, systems, and technology management; mentor team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture; develop, document, and ensure compliance with best practices including but not limited to the coding standards, object oriented designs, platform, and framework specific design concerns, and human interface guidelines; and guide and mentor junior level Software Development Engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
