Role:Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months with the possibility of being extended
Remote/Hybrid: In person 4 days a week,
Office Location: 300 Madison Ave, NY, NY
Must-Have Requirements
Education & Experience
o Bachelors Degree.
o 4+ years of experience in Stock Loan Trading / Equity Finance (preferably former traders who transitioned into project or product development roles).
o Progressive industry experience with demonstrated subject matter expertise in
Securities Lending trading, middle and back-office processes, and Capital Markets.
o Experience in major projects within stock loan or equity finance.
Technical & Functional Expertise
o Experience in end-to-end design, development, and integration of capital markets software applications at large financial institutions.
o Familiarity with Global One / Loanet or similar securities finance applications.
o Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations and experience with Broadridge BPS.
o Familiarity with US, Canadian, and/or European regulations governing Securities Lending and Prime Services products.
o Experience leading in-house or outsourced development initiatives.
o System implementation experience (replacing legacy systems with advanced applications).
o Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Nice-to-Have
Technical skills (e.g., understanding of systems or platforms used in trading).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Partner with and provide front office leadership to infrastructure groups involved in initiatives sponsored by PSG
Subject matter expertise in Securities Lending, Collateral & Inventory Management and a strong working knowledge of Cash Prime Brokerage
(multiple asset classes) and Synthetic Prime Brokerage
Solid understanding of Capital Markets, Broker/Dealer Operations, Finance, Risk, Technology and how these infrastructure components are important to PSG
Apply experience and best practices to solve problems and deliver solutions in support of the near
and long term objectives of the Securities Lending business within PSG
Deliver business functional architecture, identify integration points with infrastructure groups
and systems and define requirements for key components of the Securities Lending platform
Document business requirements prioritize and manage deliverables
Communicate business objectives to stakeholders, vendors and infrastructure groups
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver specific work packages and coordinate and conduct user acceptance
testing to insure deliverable meet business expectations
