Job Details

Role: IT Help Desk Technician
Location: Woonsocket, RI (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months (Contract)
Shift Schedule (2 Options)
  • Tuesday Saturday: 4 PM to 12:30 AM EST (Sunday & Monday off)
  • Saturday Wednesday: 12 PM to 8:30 PM EST (Thursday & Friday off)

Responsibilities
  • Respond to technical inquiries via email, chat, phone, or in-person.
  • Guide customers step-by-step through troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Provide information on IT products and services.
  • Ensure issues are resolved and follow up with customers for satisfaction.
  • Escalate feedback and recurring issues to appropriate internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with computer systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to explain technical processes in clear, simple steps.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused, patient, and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior IT Help Desk / Technical Support experience.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for various technical issues.
