Job Details

The Mailroom Clerk plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely handling of all incoming and internal mail within the organization. This position is responsible for sorting, delivering, and reviewing mail and identification badges while adhering to established guidelines. Additionally, the Mailroom Clerk contributes to process improvement efforts and may support administrative tasks or make deliveries across various regional office locations.

Key Responsibilities:
Open, sort, and deliver incoming and internal mail with extreme accuracy and in a timely manner
Follow established guidelines for mail and supply handling
Drive to various regional locations to deliver mail and supplies, as needed
Review badge photos for compliance and print, check, and distribute badges accurately
Perform clerical and administrative support functions as needed
Identify and suggest improvements to mail handling and distribution processes

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
1 3 years of relevant experience in a mailroom, administrative, or clerical role
Previous experience handling sensitive or secure documents is preferred

Special Requirements:
Valid driver's license may be required for mail and supply delivery
Must be able to stand for extended periods

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines reliably
Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Additional Desired Characteristics:
Experience in a facilities or mail services department
Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements
Dependability and self-motivation

Work Environment:
This is an onsite administrative role within a regional office setting
May involve driving to multiple local sites and standing for long periods
Standard business hours with occasional need for flexibility
