USB Systems Design Engineer

The job is 100% onsite role in Santa Clara, CA
Interview process will be Onsite and MS Teams.

Able to use Saleae analyzer or equivalent I2C analyzers

As a USB Systems Design Engineer, you will be developing, executing and debug USB post silicon test cases. In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to enable USB features, debug USB system failures, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Driving technical innovation to improve client capabilities across product development and validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional initiatives
Debugging issues found during the SOC (System on a Chip) programs bring-up, validation, and production phases
Working with multiple teams and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time
Working closely with supporting technical teams
Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
Leading collaborative approaches with multiple teams

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience with High-Speed Protocols such USB, Display Port and PCIe.
Debug techniques and methodologies.
Programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).
Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering
