Job Details

Will be hybrid into New York City-must be able to relocate and be based in the USA

Platform Engineer with Pyramid Analytics

  • In-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms Pyramid Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools (e.g., Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services like Azure App Services, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage.
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing SDLC processes using relevant tools for BI applications.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies.
  • DevOps Practices:
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of testing automation frameworks and integrating them into pipelines.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Nice to have Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection strategies.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to document technical processes and workflows clearly and concisely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years using Azure DevOps and Azure services.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
