Job Details

We are looking out for Network Engineer at Heathrow, FL for 6+ months Contract with one of our clients. Please go through the Job Description below if interested please apply ASAP.

Role: Network Engineer

Location: Heathrow, FL

Duration: 6+ Months contract

Job Summary:

  • Manage Data Center operational tickets, specifically working on Cisco ACI, Arista, Routing and Switching tech.

  • Handle day-to-day operations and respond to network-related tickets promptly and effectively.
  • Implement and maintain core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN etc.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and promptly respond to network alerts and incidents.
  • Maintain VPN and secure remote access solutions to ensure datacenter accessibility while maintaining security.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs for day to day operations set by the Network Architect throughout the project.
  • Conduct network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
  • Follow the change management process to perform network configuration changes and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience on Cisco ACI, Arista, Cisco Routing and Switching
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on core networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of modern datacenter solutions is a plus.
  • Proven experience in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, firewalls etc.
  • Familiarity with network security principles and experience in setting up VPN and secure remote access solutions is a plus
  • Ability to take ownership of day-to-day network operations and respond to tickets efficiently.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and promptly respond to alerts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with users and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently/under minimal supervision and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP in networking or related fields are a plus
