Position Details:
Role Overview:
The Sr. Network Engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing network solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves documenting current customer network diagrams, responding to advanced network break/fix issues, and creating knowledge base (KB) articles for resolutions. The engineer will spend significant time working within Visio for network documentation.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills (Top 3 Must-Haves):
Strong understanding and practical application of routing/switching and firewall concepts. Initiative to communicate and collaborate effectively. Excellent organizational skills, including accurate documentation.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
Cisco/Palo VPN configuration experience. Advanced CCNP-level WAN routing knowledge. Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.

Position Details:
- Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
- Location: 100% Remote
- Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
- Pay: $45/hr
Role Overview:
The Sr. Network Engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing network solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves documenting current customer network diagrams, responding to advanced network break/fix issues, and creating knowledge base (KB) articles for resolutions. - Analyze and test all elements of network infrastructure.
- Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements.
- Plan, design, and implement data network infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure system improvements are implemented effectively.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers in resolving complex problems.
- Manage network projects related to technology pilots, conversions, and implementations.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with standards.
- Stay updated on new products and vendor solutions impacting the business.

Day in the Life:
- Complete network documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced network issues.
- Document existing customer network diagrams.
- First response for advanced network troubleshooting and break/fix issues.
- Create KB articles for recurring issues and resolutions.
- Participate in daily standups, consistent Teams chats, and ad-hoc calls to support Bread's network operations.
- Attend pre-scheduled meetings to research customer network connectivity.
Certifications:
- Required: CCNP or CCDP
- Preferred: CCIE
