Raytheon's Software Configuration Management (SWCM) department establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. SWCM department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software, firmware/configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools.
SWCM department is hiring a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer, to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

SWCM department is hiring a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer, to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
- Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes
- Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements
- Trouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action items
- Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
- Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle
- Ensure site baseline and post deploy verifications
- Perform and lead coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments
- Work onsite at Schriever SFB site
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
- Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
- Strong background in task automation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C#, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
- Work effectively with individuals from diverse communities/cultures and cross discipline organizations
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, CloudBees Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Chef, Rundeck
