Job Details

Core Technical Skills:
  • SQL and PL/SQL Mastery:
    Proficient in writing efficient SQL queries, including advanced concepts like subqueries, joins, analytical functions, and DML operations. Expert in PL/SQL programming, including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and exception handling.
  • Database Design and Management:
    Experience in designing and implementing relational databases, including normalization, indexing strategies, and data integrity constraints. Understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration concepts.
  • Performance Tuning:
    Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and PL/SQL code using tools like SQL Tuning Advisor, Explain Plan, and AWR reports.
  • Database Tools:
    Familiarity with Oracle development tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, and SQL*Plus.
  • Version Control:
    Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) for managing database code.
    • Experience with Oracle Tools:
      Familiarity with tools like Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle Application Express (APEX), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
    • Programming Languages:
      While PL/SQL is central, proficiency in other languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is often beneficial for developing applications that interact with Oracle databases or for integration purposes.
    • Data Modeling:
      The ability to design and implement effective database structures, including defining tables, relationships, and constraints.
