Overview:
We are seeking a team of experienced Data Center Technicians to support large-scale GPU deployments and infrastructure projects across multiple data center locations. This is a travel-intensive role (up to 75%) based out of the Milwaukee market, ideal for professionals with strong troubleshooting skills and experience in enterprise-level data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform break/fix, deployment, and troubleshooting tasks in enterprise data center environments.
  • Support GPU deployments and related infrastructure setup.
  • Remove and install network and power cabling.
  • Conduct physical audits and decommissioning of data center assets.
  • Follow detailed procedures for diagnostics, hardware replacement, and system startup/shutdown.
  • Operate software tools to monitor systems, identify issues, and support debugging efforts.
  • Collaborate with team leads and follow standard operating procedures for all tasks.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on data center technician experience.
  • Strong experience in IT systems and networking.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, servers, and components.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally up to 75%.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GPU deployments in data center environments.
  • Previous experience in high-growth or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Work Environment:
  • Data center environments, including active construction zones.
  • PPE required and provided (composite-toed boots, high-vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, hard hat where applicable).
  • Limited direct oversight; technicians must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $50.00/hr.
