Description
Seeking a Business Continuance Manager for enterprise-wide ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) implementation. This is a staff augmentation position running from September 15, 2025 to June 30, 2026 (potential renewal). The role is NOT eligible for telecommuting and will operate onsite at the Burns Building in Tallahassee, FL, with flexibility for hours between 7:00AM and 7:00PM (including possible Saturdays).
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and integration of the ServiceNow BCM module with other ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB) and third-party systems.
Configure and customize ServiceNow BCM for enterprise needs, including custom forms, business rules, UI policies, and integration points.
Manage system upgrades, patches, feature enhancements, and performance optimization.
Develop and implement business impact analysis (BIA) tools and automated RTO/RPO calculations.
Build service dependency maps and single point of failure identification procedures.
Design standardized business continuity plan templates and workflows (maintenance, version control, approvals).
Conduct comprehensive BCM training programs, create user guides, and facilitate user workshops for administrators and platform users.
Monitor system performance, manage feedback collection, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate risk management procedures and liaise closely with Information Security.
Complete daily reporting activities and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
5 7 years in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or enterprise risk management.
3 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with at least 2 years in ServiceNow GRC modules (BCM, Risk Management, or Policy & Compliance).
Proven background in enterprise software implementation and integration (preferably ServiceNow).
Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing stakeholders, and driving organizational change.
Technical
Deep expertise with ServiceNow platform architecture, BCM, CMDB integration, workflow automation.
Familiarity with business continuity standards (ISO 22301, NFPA 1600), risk assessment, BIA, and threat modeling.
Proficiency with IT infrastructure, cloud services, disaster recovery, and ITIL frameworks.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
Advanced skills in ServiceNow scripting, application customization, and system configuration.
Data analysis/reporting, dashboard creation, compliance monitoring.
API development and system integration.
Testing and validation, including exercise design and automated testing workflows.
Position is onsite to Tallahassee:
Lead the implementation and integration of the ServiceNow BCM module with other ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB) and third-party systems.
