Title: Quality Engineer (Metrological)

Location: Devens, MA| Onsite

Duration: 6-12+ Months

Job Summary

  • A fast-growing manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong background in materials science and hands-on metrology experience. This role supports manufacturing operations by developing and executing test methods, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring product quality through rigorous inspection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Lead GRR studies and qualification activities

  • Develop and document test method work instructions
  • Perform method development (e.g., Tensile Testing, Powder Testing, Chemistry Testing)
  • Create manufacturing work instructions
  • Investigate and disposition nonconformances

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering or metrology
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or ISO 13485 standards
  • Experience with GD&T, SPC, and CAPA methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Exposure to 3D printing of titanium
