Description: Our client is currently seeking a Operational Excellence Site Engineer
- Lead implementation of the TBCT OpEx Framework at the site level, delivering year-over-year improvements in key performance areas.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Lean and Six Sigma, coaching and educating plant personnel.
- Align improvement efforts with factory goals using OpEx methodologies.
- Apply tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, DMAIC, PDCA, SMED, and TPM to drive measurable results.
- Sustain systems like Daily Management, Gemba Walks, and Behavior & Results Assessments.
- Translate the OpEx roadmap into actionable local plans in partnership with plant leadership.
- Build associate capability through coaching, training, and facilitation of improvement activities.
- Conduct maturity assessments and lead gap-closing initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and functional teams on compliance and regulatory issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering within a medical device environment.
- Certified or trained in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Proven success implementing structured OpEx or CI frameworks in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
- Ability to coach and influence diverse teams.
- Demonstrated results using OpEx tools and systems.
- Experience teaching CI and problem-solving techniques.
- Skilled in leading teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Effective communicator across all levels and global audiences.
- Strong public speaking and organizational skills.
- Experience in change management and global environments.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Business acumen and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- High-level persuasion and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a general labor environment with PPE.
- Must be able to walk, bend, stand, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
