Description
Provide technical leadership across the DevSecOps domain, with a focus on secure, scalable, and automated delivery practices. The Solution Architect will partner with senior technical and operational leaders across Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure & Operations, and the developer ecosystem to define and implement DevSecOps strategies and roadmaps. This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and secure software delivery. The architect will also lead or support AI Ops initiatives that demonstrate measurable business value. This individual must be comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively, mentoring others, and driving adoption of modern DevSecOps practices across a hybrid enterprise environment.
Skills
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Octopus, and GitHub Copilot
Strong architectural knowledge of AWS, including production-grade deployments
Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using declarative pipelines
Programming proficiency in C# and Python (both preferred); Java is a plus
Familiarity with FINRA and other financial regulations applicable to LPL Financial, including AML, SEC, and recordkeeping standards
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance models relevant to regulated enterprises
Experience
Prior roles as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer in a large, regulated enterprise, ideally within financial services
Hands-on experience in hybrid on-premise/cloud environments
Proven collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and Infrastructure & Operations teams
Demonstrated ability to evangelize DevSecOps practices across developer ecosystems
Experience leading AI Ops initiatives or deploying AI-driven capabilities in production with measurable business impact
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
Relevant certifications include:
o HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
o AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
o AWS Certified Security - Specialty
o CISSP or CISM for enterprise security leadership
