Job Details
Position: Senior MicroStrategy Developer
Job Type: Reston VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months contract Possible extension
Acceptable visa: (NO RELOCATION) - Unable to sponsor visa
Notes:
- 12-month C2H (Must be in DMV or WV) .. Expected to be in office (Reston) during PI Planning every 2 months or so (5-6 times per year for a full day).
- Backfill (high priority). Client currently uses MicroStrategy version 11.5
- Must Haves:
- 10+ years (more the better) of MicroStrategy exp developing dashboards and reports. Going to have to do requirements gathering and make necessary changes to models.
- Should have great documentation exp (mapping documentation exp)
- Should have strong data warehouse skills (The entire data warehouse currently sits on Cloudera/Hadoop platform right now but looking to get out of it and into Redshift). SQL, Hive & Linux.
- Good exp working with DevOps environment.
- Agile/scrum exp. Great comm skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Healthcare BG
- Prior exp pulling data from/working in Cloudera/Hadoop environment
- AWS Redshift (in process of migrating from Cloudera to Redshift)
