Job Details

Job Title: Cloud Operations Analyst

Location: Remote (Anywhere in US)


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, manage, and support cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.

  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform (IaC).

  • Deploy and manage Docker containers and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes.

  • Assist in application deployment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring across staging and production environments.

  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and deployment practices.

  • Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule to address incidents and outages.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2 4 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or related roles.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

  • Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

  • Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice to Have
  • Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) or Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer).

  • Experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio), Helm, or Kubernetes Operators.

  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers).

  • Exposure to serverless platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
