C# . Net Developer (w/ payment integration)

Initial Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Akron, OH area client, 5 days/week onsite

Target Start: June 2

-Our client is in need of a C# .Net developer who can onboard/learn quickly, work in a small group efficiently with an emphasis on continuous communication. Candidate must have experience working with external hardware, specifically payment or credit card devices, kiosks, or other hardware/payment processing. Resource will be joining a team of 4 and working with ongoing projects with their team, that handles integration / the application that takes credit card payments into a kiosk. Resource needs to understand the nuances of talking to external devices with ethernet connectivity, knows how to work with the device, intricacies of human interaction, not just software. Must be familiar with asynchronous event handing.

Must Have:

-C# .NET

-Experience using libraries for TCP/IP communication. Understanding of REST API s, to hardware

-Serialization Concepts

-XML

-Must have experience working with external hardware.

-Strong preference for someone who has worked with payment devices (Credit card acceptors)

Preferred:

-experience with GIT / Azure DevOps

-not needed necessarily for this role, but for possible future projects with other teams; Angular, WPF, SQL Server, AWS
