We are a dynamic engineering team dedicated to designing and developing innovative products for medical and industrial markets. Our work spans analog and digital circuits for handheld measurement and communication devices, supporting both embedded and PC applications. What You'll Do
  • Perform complex engineering and analytical work for new product design and development.
  • Develop analog and digital circuits for battery-powered, mobile, and handheld hardware platforms.
  • Document designs and changes, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
  • Lead or participate in peer design reviews and cross-functional project teams.
  • Guide requirements development and contribute to cohesive project requests and specifications.
  • Drive qualification test plans, verification, and validation testing to meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Interface with other functional areas and external vendors to expedite product commercialization.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and serve as a sustaining engineer for manufacturing operations.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory trends and ensure compliance in product specifications.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and contribute to technology strategy development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or VP of Engineering.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; graduate degree desired.
  • At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Broad expertise in analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, prototyping, and validation.
  • Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium, OrCAD), embedded systems, and programming languages (C, C++, C#, VB, LabVIEW, ASM, Linux, Arduino, TI MSP430, NXP i.MX).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (UL, CSA, IEC, CE, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, FCC) and relevant standards (UL/EN/IEC 60079-11, 61010).
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and technology innovation skills.
  • Behavioral attributes: dedication, team orientation, initiative, creativity, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Leadership capabilities: business acumen, conflict management, and motivation.
  • Ability to use various hand tools and test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply).
  • Certificates/licenses preferred: Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt, Professional Engineer; patents in relevant areas desirable.
