Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Retail Public Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic team and support the implementation, optimization, and management of SAP solutions in the retail domain. As part of a growing public cloud practice, you will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to drive the successful deployment and configuration of SAP IS Retail solutions on the SAP public cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

1. SAP IS Retail Implementation & Support:
   • Lead or support the implementation and configuration of SAP IS Retail solutions in the public cloud environment (SAP S/4HANA Cloud).
   • Gather business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and deliver tailored SAP solutions that meet retail-specific needs.
   • Configure and maintain SAP Retail modules (including Merchandising, Procurement, Store Operations, and Sales) in the public cloud.
   • Work with stakeholders to ensure effective testing and validation of cloud-based SAP Retail solutions.
2. Cloud Strategy & Integration:
   • Collaborate with cloud architects to design cloud-based solutions and integration strategies tailored to the retail industry.
   • Ensure smooth integration of SAP IS Retail with other systems such as ERP, supply chain management, and external systems.
   • Perform migration activities from on-premise solutions to SAP's public cloud offering.
3. Support & Troubleshooting:
   • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP IS Retail solutions running on the cloud platform.
   • Monitor system performance, resolve incidents, and propose optimizations to ensure high system availability and performance.
4. Customization & Development:
   • Customize the SAP IS Retail solution to suit the unique needs of retail businesses in a cloud environment.
   • Develop enhancements, reports, and interfaces to extend the functionality of the system.
5. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
   • Work with other consultants, technical teams, and business users to ensure that SAP solutions are aligned with business processes.
   • Mentor junior consultants and share best practices in SAP IS Retail and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in SAP IS Retail, with a focus on cloud-based implementations (SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP Commerce Cloud).
  • Proven experience with SAP Retail modules like Merchandising, Procurement, and Sales.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Public Cloud platform, including configuration, integration, and migration projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of SAP IS Retail solution architecture and its integration with SAP S/4HANA and other retail-specific applications.
  • Experience in configuring SAP modules for retail-specific functions, including pricing, promotions, store management, and merchandise management.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment models and architecture (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform, and public cloud environments like AWS, Azure).
  • Proficiency in tools like SAP Fiori for frontend development and SAP Integration Suite for system connectivity.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and trends in the cloud space.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in SAP IS Retail or S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps in the retail context.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in retail business processes.
