Business Analyst Teamcenter / PLM
Location: Las Vegas, NV (onsite at least 1 week per month; remainder remote)
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Direct Hire or Contract also considered)

About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong Siemens Teamcenter / PLM experience to join our team. In this role, you ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders (engineering, R&D, quality, operations) and technical teams (developers, system integrators). You ll drive requirements gathering, process improvement, testing, and adoption for PLM initiatives and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities



  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements for Teamcenter PLM


  • Perform as-is and to-be process modeling and gap analysis


  • Translate business needs into user stories, system specifications, and acceptance criteria


  • Support configuration, customization, and deployment of Teamcenter modules (e.g., BOM management, workflows, quality/CAQ)


  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and quality teams to ensure alignment


  • Assist with integration efforts across ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise systems


  • Define and execute test plans (SIT, regression, UAT)


  • Track defects, change requests, and coordinate resolutions with developers


  • Support data migration, BOM reconciliation, and data integrity activities


  • Provide training, documentation, and change management during rollouts


  • Monitor and optimize post go-live support and enhancements


Qualifications



  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IS, or related field


  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in PLM / engineering systems environments


  • Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter (multiple modules)


  • Strong knowledge of workflows, BOM & variant management, data modeling, and change management


  • Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, REST, middleware, XML/web services)


  • Experience with testing, UAT, and defect tracking (e.g., JIRA)
