Terms: PERM Rate: $130-140k + 10 15% Bonus Potential Requirements: We are looking for a seasoned Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Memphis, TN. This individual will lead the management and optimization of enterprise-wide database infrastructure across on-prem and Azure environments. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on professional with deep technical knowledge, excellent collaboration skills, and a strong focus on performance, security, and availability. Required experience includes the following: - 10+ years administering SQL Server databases (2012 2022), including maintenance, security, and performance tuning
- 5+ years supporting and migrating to Azure SQL Server and Managed Instances, including experience leading on-prem to cloud migrations
- 8+ years designing and implementing High Availability and disaster recovery strategies using Availability Groups, backups/restores, log shipping, and replication
- 10+ years developing and optimizing T-SQL, including indexing and execution plan analysis
- 5+ years automating administration using PowerShell or similar scripting tools
- 7+ years collaborating with software development and DevOps teams for database deployment workflows
- 4+ years working within Azure cloud environments and understanding of security, monitoring, and performance tools
- 10+ years supporting complex enterprise ecosystems (50+ database instances) across dev/test/prod
- 2+ years experience with CosmosDB and/or PostgreSQL (preferred but not required) Please prioritize looking for this. It is not a deal breaker, but the manager would really like this experience.)
- 5+ years in on-call rotations, handling escalations, performance issues, and recovery events
