POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Salesforce Architect, you will lead the adoption, optimization, and evolution of the Salesforce platform, integrating advanced technologies to deliver innovative solutions. You'll be responsible for defining the architecture, establishing standards, and ensuring the health of the overall solution, all while mentoring the technical team, sharing knowledge, and driving process improvements.
ROLE
- Identify how a client's architecture fits together and provide strategic and technical advice
- Understand business and technical requirements and translate these into technical solutions
- Analyze business processes and identify alternative solutions, assess the feasibility, and recommend new approaches, typically seeking to exploit new technology components.
- Model processes, architecture, data structures, and information required to support the client's projects
- Develop enterprise-grade information architecture and processes that utilize and realize the value of Salesforce.com application technology
- Ensure both business strategy and technological direction are aligned
- Take a collaborative role in developing and enforcing a set of architecture and development libraries, and whitepapers
- Set standards for programming tools and techniques, and advise on their application and compliance
- Design integrations between Salesforce products and the clients' architecture
- Support project managers in all stages of the software development process
- Assign work through the correct communication channels to technical consultants and monitor performance, providing advice, guidance, and assistance
- Oversight of the development and configuration of solutions and ensuring quality delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certifications: A minimum of 5 Salesforce Architect-level certifications are required (see list below).
- Experience: At least 8+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a minimum of 3+ years specifically focused on architecting within Salesforce Pre-Sales solutioning.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Client-Facing Expertise: Extensive client-facing experience with a collaborative and customer-centric approach, fostering strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with Subject Matter Experts, Business Architects, and Product Owners to gather requirements, review solutions and designs, and create enablement and test scripts.
- Salesforce & Force.com Platform Proficiency: Deep knowledge across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com) and related technologies, with the ability to architect robust, scalable solutions across these platforms.
- Consulting & Development Background: Prior experience as a hands-on consultant and/or developer within the Salesforce ecosystem, including integrations with third-party applications and systems.
- Integration & Security Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of integration and security design principles to ensure seamless data flow and robust platform protection.
- Enterprise Architecture: Experience in enterprise architecture, delivering solutions that align with business goals, system performance, and scalability.
- Technical Documentation: Expertise in translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical design documents and effectively communicating these designs to development teams.
- Engineering Excellence: A commitment to building a culture of engineering excellence, focusing on quality, security, performance, scalability, and availability in every solution.
- Agile Methodology: Solid experience working in an Agile project environment, leading and contributing to iterative development cycles.
- Web Technologies: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to utilize these skills in Salesforce-based solutions.
