Job Description

ARK Strategies is seeking a Senior Oracle WebLogic Middleware Engineer with hands-on experience in middleware administration and AWS cloud environments. This role focuses on production support, performance tuning, and cloud operations across enterprise middleware platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, patch, and support Oracle WebLogic, Oracle APEX, Tomcat, and Confluent Kafka

  • Monitor, analyze, and tune middleware systems for optimal performance

  • Manage software installations, upgrades, and patching for WebLogic, APEX, and Kafka

  • Support AWS services including EC2, S3, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, WAF, Route53, CloudTrail

  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for complex production issues

  • Assist in the design and configuration of middleware and application environments

  • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks

  • Participate in incident calls, on-call rotations, and disaster recovery (DR) activities

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration

  • Middleware support in AWS / hybrid environments

  • Experience with Kafka, Tomcat, and Oracle APEX

  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support skills

  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud operations

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Large-scale enterprise or public-sector experience

  • Automation or scripting knowledge (Shell, Python)

  • CI/CD or DevOps exposure
