**Onsite | San Diego, CA**

Our client has an incredible opportunity for a Senior Scrum Master.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $75 - $95 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
About the Project:

This is a multi-year large data platform implementation using Data Bricks. There are a lot of moving pieces, different consulting companies, teams in India and challenges to this project. The average SM will not survive here. You must be able to deal with politics, communicate exceptionally well, understand how to drive the project, get in front of issues and work with a multi-layered team. This is very complex work with many different stakeholders.

Experience Requirements:
  • Must Haves/Ideals:
  • Must be a SAFe Certified Scrum Master (SSM).
  • Experience with very large scale data platform implementations at enterprise companies. You don't have to be the technical SME data person but they need to be able to follow along.
  • Strong business acumen - able to ask the right questions and demonstrate appropriate technical aptitude
  • Must have enterprise experience working for major organizations that have done something similar - data project
  • Ideal: SAFe + Data Lakehouse experience + enterprise organization
  • Experience and ease in working in both an Agile and Waterfall organization, (a hybrid or blended approach).
    • A mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, often called a hybrid or blended approach, combines elements of both to suit specific project needs. It recognizes that certain project phases benefit from the structured, predictable nature of Waterfall, while others require the adaptability and flexibility of Agile. This approach allows for a tailored process that leverages the strengths of each methodology.


Logistics:
  • Onsite San Diego 4 days a week. Come September it will be 5 days per week


How to be successful:
  • This team has VERY smart people. This is not a job for the average Scrum Master. You must have a very high intellect and be able to keep up.
  • Strong communication skills are critical - passive type of personalities will not do well here. Must be able to command presence, hold people accountable, stay ahead of the issues etc. (this is very important!)


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
