Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Program Manager II with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within our ServiceNow Delivery team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow solutions across multi-vendor and multi-business environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), project governance, and enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations, combined with executive presence to influence and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Communication & Influence:
    • Present project status, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate confidence, clarity, and professionalism in high-stakes meetings and decision-making forums.
    • Build trust and credibility across diverse business units and vendor partners.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Manage large-scale ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects from initiation through deployment.
    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
    • Coordinate across multiple vendors and business units to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams, business units, and external partners.
    • Facilitate communication and decision-making across diverse organizational structures.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Collaborate with ServiceNow architects and developers to validate technical designs and integrations.
    • Support configuration, customization, and testing activities as needed.
  • Budget Management:
    • Candidate needs to have financial management experience with budgets, actuals, reporting out (projects of ***M and up).

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow delivery
  • Proven track record managing multi-vendor, multi-business projects or programs
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities
  • Demonstrated executive presence with ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively at senior levels
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience
  • Prior Big 4 or Big 3 consulting agency employment
  • Fortune 100 experience
  • PMP or PMI certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with energy industry compliance standards
