Job Title: IT Tester

Job Description:
A public sector agency is seeking an experienced IT Tester to support the validation of IT systems, with a focus on document management and information governance solutions. This role will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, identifying performance issues, and ensuring software meets defined specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute defined test scripts to validate IT systems and processes.
Perform functional, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify compliance with specifications.
Run load and performance tests to identify bottlenecks and system issues.
Track and document defects using testing tools and collaborate with development teams.
Provide both technical and non-technical knowledge transfer of testing processes and results.
Ensure test activities align with the overall project timeline and quality goals.
Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience in document management or information governance.
1+ year of hands-on experience using testing tools to manage test cases and track defects.
Experience performing UAT, functional testing, and system-level testing.
Strong skills in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience working with Kofax systems and document workflows.
Familiarity with IBM FileNet and its related components.
General understanding and experience with the following (or similar) technologies:
Case Foundation (workflow)
Content Manager (document repository)
Enterprise Records Foundation (retention management)
