Job Title: FUSA/CPU DV Engineer
Location: California, USA
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced FUSA/CPU DV Engineer to join our team at Sivaltech in California. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional safety and design verification, with a strong background in automotive electronics and software development. This role involves leading the development of safety-critical systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
- Develop and implement Functional Safety Concepts and Technical Safety Concepts
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure safety standards are met
- Develop automation tools to support safety development activities
- Identify and mitigate safety and security risks
- Work with powertrain domain experts to develop safety-critical systems for electric vehicles
Requirements:
- 8-9 years of experience in FUSA or CPU DV
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 standards and functional safety development process
- Experience with embedded control systems, hardware, and software
- Excellent skills in decomposition of business and customer requirements into functional and technical safety concepts
- Experience with tools like Ansys Medini, DOORS, and scripting/programming languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified ISO 26262 Automotive Functional Safety Professional
- Experience with software test specifications and automation for PIL/HIL/SIL tests
- Exposure to CMMi/ASPICE practices
