JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a talented Hybrid Mobile Developer with strong expertise in the Ionic Framework to design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mobile development best practices, experience integrating with RESTful APIs, and a passion for delivering seamless user experiences across Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain hybrid mobile applications using Ionic (React / Angular).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across platforms.
- Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, and native device features using Cordova/Capacitor.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure app stability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development and Ionic ecosystem
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2 years using Ionic Framework.
- Proficiency in Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Capacitor or Cordova for native functionality.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Knowledge of app deployment processes to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, and In-App Purchases.
- Familiarity with native Android/iOS development is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile apps (e.g., App Center, Bitrise).
