Azure Cloud Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Azure Cloud Administrator in Kalamazoo, MI.

Key Responsibilities:
* Azure Cloud Administrator will configure, deploy, and oversee Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage, and resource groups
* Manage identity and access controls within Azure Active Directory, enforcing security policies
* Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes in the cloud environment
* Track system performance, usage, and costs, and recommend improvements where needed
* Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards and tagging conventions
* Apply cloud security best practices, including role-based access and conditional policies
* Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities, perform patching, and maintain secure cloud operations
* As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will support compliance with both internal and industry security standards
* Act as a senior escalation point for cloud-related infrastructure issues
* Maintain up-to-date documentation on architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures
* Perform routine updates, patch management, and configuration audits to ensure reliability and security
* Collaborate on cloud initiatives, migrations, and service enhancements
* Research and recommend new Azure services to improve efficiency, performance, or cost management

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5+ years managing and supporting enterprise cloud environments, preferably in Microsoft Azure
* Practical experience with cloud identity services, virtual machines, storage solutions, and monitoring cost and resource usage
* Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, and security groups, within hybrid or fully cloud environments
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud and hybrid infrastructure challenges

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
