Job Details
Our direct client is looking for Manual & Automation QA Engineer for Android tablet-based POS and other applications. Hybrid: Onsite for at least 3 days a week here in Louisville, Kentucky. 8:30-5:30 but flexible. Please send me resume, rate and contact details.
Test Planning (10%)
Work with the product owner and development teams to determine testing plan for future releases
Maintain library of test scripts, both manual and automated
Assist developers in learning what tests need to be covered by unit tests
Participate in project meetings, daily scrums, and product planning sessions.
Test Execution (60%)
Independently execute manual and automated test scripts against Android tablet based POS and other applications
Conduct hands on testing with hardware systems that match our restaurant systems
Follow defect resolution from inception to production
Maintain a testing lab in our offices in Louisville, KY
Assist in managing a fleet of test devices and their test builds
Work with our security team to validate findings of PEN and security testing
Report on success or failure of test script runs.
Lab Maintenance
Maintain physical lab systems in our Louisville Ky based office space
Setup, repair, replace equipment ranging from tablets, switches, routers, monitors, PC, etc.
Production Support (20%)
Act as an escalation point for our customer helpdesk
Certify restaurant hardware
Act as Subject Matter Expert on how the system services are used by other systems in the environment
