Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tanium Engineer / Technical Lead to join the IT Infrastructure team at the world's largest fixed asset firm. This role requires deep expertise in the Tanium Cloud platform, application packaging, and enterprise endpoint management. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in Windows deployment, automation scripting, and integration with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and SCCM.

Job Duties:
Tanium Platform Management
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Tanium Cloud modules including Patch, Deploy, Discover, Asset, Connect, and Provision.
- Manage automated patch and software deployments across enterprise environments.
- Integrate Tanium with tools such as ServiceNow, Git, and other ITSM platforms.
Application Packaging & Deployment
- Package, test, and deploy applications using MSI, MSIX, and EXE formats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment issues using Tanium and scripting tools.
Windows Deployment & Support
- Provide architecture and support for Windows 10/11 deployments using MDT, SCCM, and Group Policy.
- Troubleshoot OS and application issues, including MS Office and Teams.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain PowerShell, VBScript, and XML scripts for automation and deployment tasks.
Training, Documentation & Reporting
- Provide training and support to IT teams and end-users on Tanium tools and processes.
- Maintain clear documentation of procedures, configurations, and deployment strategies.
- Generate reports on deployment progress, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience, with 1-2 years in a technical lead role.
- Proven expertise with Tanium Cloud and its modules.
- Strong experience with application packaging and deployment.
- Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, and MDT.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Wiki platforms.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments with high security and compliance standards.
