Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience

  • 3+ years of experience with MS medical devices

  • Analytical thinker

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience in technical writing


Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities


  • Lead cross-functional engineering and quality improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence across the organization.

  • Provide project leadership, including direction, coaching, and mentoring for engineering and technical teams to support quality-focused goals.

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement best-in-class Quality Engineering practices to enhance product reliability and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as a technical mentor, offering expert guidance for resolving quality-related challenges in manufacturing and design processes.

  • Develop and implement robust process control systems to ensure consistent product quality and meet or exceed FDA, ISO 13485, and customer requirements.

  • Lead the execution and improvement of CAPA systems, risk management strategies, and process validations to support continuous improvement and compliance.

  • Act as a strong quality advocate in cross-departmental teams, ensuring quality disciplines and standards are upheld in all phases of product development and production.

  • Use structured problem-solving tools (such as Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys, or Six Sigma DMAIC) to investigate, prioritize, and resolve product and process issues.

  • Develop and maintain efficient quality systems and streamlined business processes that proactively identify and resolve quality concerns.

  • Embed quality and compliance into every aspect of your work, ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory, quality system, and company requirements.

  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and customer satisfaction by actively supporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

  • Foster strong collaboration with stakeholders in manufacturing, engineering, and regulatory affairs to support a quality-first mindset at every stage of the product lifecycle.
