Description
We are seeking a skilled Mini Excavator Operator to support Department of Transportation (DOT) field operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert-level control of mini excavators, including hydraulic systems and attachments, in varied and often confined environments. A strong understanding of safety protocols and situational awareness is essential, especially when working near traffic, underground utilities, and other high-risk areas. Responsibilities include site preparation, trenching, grading, and supporting utility installations with precision and efficiency. Operators must be able to read and follow site plans, communicate effectively with ground crews and supervisors, and adapt to changing field conditions. Familiarity with DOT and OSHA safety standards is required. This role demands reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
