Job Description

Join NBC Entertainment's dynamic Distribution & Affiliate Marketing team, where you'll
contribute to the success of our shows through strategic distribution and affiliate
marketing initiatives. As the Digital Distribution Marketing Manager, you'll strengthen
relationships with NBC's internal and external partners by focusing on these critical
aspects.

Responsibilities:
NBC Digital Distribution Marketing Manager:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for distributing content, optimizing placement, and scheduling for maximum viewership.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners and the NBC affiliate team to enhance content reach and engagement.
  • Tailor distribution and marketing strategies based on audience preferences, ensuring resonance with target viewers.
  • Implement regular evaluations of marketing performance, adjust strategies based on results, and diligently track campaigns' success to identify areas for improvement and optimize future initiatives for enhanced impact.
  • Collaborate with the NBC affiliate team and distribution partners to coordinate talent visits strategically. Maximize the impact of talent engagements in local markets by ensuring alignment with promotional activities and optimizing exposure for unscripted shows.

Communication and Coordination Mastery:

  • Utilize advanced project management tools to streamline coordination efforts within the team.
  • Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
  • Regularly assess and optimize communication processes for a cohesive and synchronized approach across stakeholders.

ASO for TVE, The Voice & AGT Show Apps:

  • Develop and manage the refresh calendar for TVE, The Voice, and AGT Show Apps.
  • Submit creative forms, create timelines for refresh, and seek internal approval for app updates.

Manage In-App Events:

  • Develop a calendar for in-app events, including submitting creative, copy, and branch link forms.
  • Coordinate the submission of event forms on iOS and Google Play.
  • Create quarterly recap decks and contribute to planning for the next quarter's events.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including roles at broadcast or cable networks, streaming platforms, or local television stations.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is preferred.
  • Proven experience in partnership management, app store optimization, and project coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to organize and display data in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in creating visually appealing presentation decks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Understanding of linear broadcast model and evolving/emerging streaming services
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Tableau, and Airtable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to foster strong relationships and demonstrate diplomacy across multiple constituents.
  • Capable of making sound decisions when handling sensitive and critical information.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 (bonus eligible)
