RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Java Developer to join their team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of robust web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and application security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Spring Boot
* Design, implement, and consume RESTful Web Services
* Create and optimize stored procedures in SQL
* Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application quality
* Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
* Apply general knowledge of application security and OWASP best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience building microservices platforms
* Hands-on skills with Angular, HTML, CSS, and responsive design
* Familiarity with cross-browser layout techniques
* Proven experience in web development with Java and Spring Boot
* Strong SQL skills and experience with stored procedures
* Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
* Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
* Knowledge of security principles and OWASP guidelines
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to front-end frameworks and UI/UX best practices
* Experience in agile development environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
